Goals for NAAEE
My experience in many volunteer board positions, including as President of the North Carolina affiliate and as Program Chair for the 2006 NAAEE conference gives me a solid foundation for improving NAAEE's services to members, its’ conference planning process, and volunteer recruitment and retention. My general enthusiasm for life, and creativity in problem solving would be an asset to the Board. My research interests focus on everyday learning facilitated by peers, and the corollary development of community. I believe that these interests may be useful to the Board and to the Association, as my vision for NAAEE is for the sense of community among the members to serve as a basis for professional and social growth both for the individual, the affiliate, and the national organization.
