Using your CCC Listserv - What Chairs Need to Know

How-to information CCC lists and listservs

If you are a chair of a Commission, Committee or Council (CCC), there are a few things you should know. 

Because people are busy, it may be best to simply email your questions about your CCC listserv to: memberservices at naaee.org

 

Being a Chair and a Moderator

1) You control who is on your CCC.  You can add people to your CCC by emailing memberservices at naaee.org and NAAEE staff will take care of your request for you or will train you to be able to add and remove members from your CCC without staff assistance.

2) If your CCC has a co-chair or if you would like to become a co-chair or add a co-chair, contact memberservices at naaee.org

3) Exclude and Include lists -- Just like there are exclude and include lists for CCC members, there are also Exclude and Include lists for Chairs.  NAAEE admins can add an email address to the Exclude or Include list for a CCC Chair and, as a result, permanently make a given email address or addresses a CCC listserv moderator.

4) All members of your CCC list will be able to post messages to the list directly to the list without moderation of the message if they are currently subscribed to the list (i.e. a current member and selected as a member of the particular CCC).

5) You can find summary information about your CCC here such as the official name of your CCC, the listserv address for your CCC and more.
