The Fine Print
Details about registration fees, refund/cancellation policy
The Full Conference Registration fee entitles you to attend:
- Opening events (October 11),
- all concurrent sessions,
- keynote presentations,
- the Exhibit Fair, and
- special events for participants (October 12-14).
- With your registration, you receive badge access to food events (total value of $116), including
- the St. Paul Panorama Reception at the Minnesota History Center on Thursday, October 12 (you must RSVP for this event);
- the (full-service) Celebrating Excellence Awards Lunch on Friday, October 13 (you must RSVP for this event);
- two continental breakfasts (Friday and Saturday);
- and several morning and after-noon breaks.
One Day Registration fee entitles you to participate in:
- the activities on the applicable day. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars.
Notes:
- The Full Conference Registration fee is a prerequisite to register for all pre-conference workshops, field trips, and events that are priced separately, as indicated on this form.
- Family members accompanying a conference attendee may register for field trips and the closing dinner. Each family member will receive a corresponding badge or a ticket. You can register them as part of your conference registration using the online registration process. You can register a maximum of three (3) guests online. If you have more than three guests, please use our hard-copy process, or by calling (202) 419-0412.
- FOR THE EARLY BIRD RATE, YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION WITH PAYMENT (ONLINE, FAX, OR MAIL) BY AUGUST 1, 2006.
- All registration forms must be received by September 27.
- Registrations received after September 27 will be processed on site and will incur an additional $50 administrative fee. Bring your forms for on-site registration beginning on Monday, October 9.
- No registration form will be accepted without payment included. Confirmations will be issued via email.
Refund Policy
- Fees paid for field trips, preconference workshops, Saturday teacher event, ticketed functions, and the EE Research Symposium are nonrefundable.
- For conference registration fees, a US $100 administrative fee will be assessed on written refund requests postmarked or emailed by August 28; US $150 for written requests postmarked or emailed from August 28 to September 27; no refunds will be given after September 27.
- A $50 administrative fee will be incurred for registration fee name changes.
Cancellation Policy
Field trips, workshops, ticketed functions, and EE Research Symposium are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants required is not met. NAAEE will review the preliminary number of registered attendees on the early bird deadline date of August 1. If an activity is cancelled, you will be notified no later than September 18, and you will be offered alternate options. If you choose not to accept an alternate option, you will receive a refund for any activity cancelled by NAAEE. In the event of a cancellation, NAAEE cannot be held responsible for travel arrangements made by participants.
Liability Waiver
In submitting your conference registration, you confirm that you participate in all 2006 NAAEE Annual Conference activities at your own risk. Accordingly, you agree to hold the NAAEE Board, its staff, contractors, and agents harmless against all injury that you might suffer at any time during this conference.
