2010 Call for Presentations

For Students Only ~ To Submit an Poster Presentation Proposal:
1. Go to http://naaee.org/cgi-bin/risee/noram/login and enter your login id and password.
You do not have to be a member but you must have a login id and password to submit. If you have not previously created a profile (i.e. you have never been a member of NAAEE, you have never submitted a proposal to the conference, you have never volunteered as a reviewer, you have never registered for the conference, or you have never purchased anything through the NAAEE store), you will need to create a profile to log in.
If you are unsure of your membership status or whether or not you have a profile in the NAAEE database, please do not create a new profile but contact memberservices "at" naaee.org for assistance.
2. Click on the "Call for Presentations" link next to the 2010 conference logo.
3. You will be directed to the CFP site and a submitter menu. Click on "Submit or Edit a Proposal" to begin the submission process. Note: the CFP site will time-out after ~30 minutes and your unsubmitted proposal will not be saved. It is advisable to prepare/finalize and save your submission material in a Word document prior to entering the CFP system. Once you have sucessfully submitted a proposal, you may reenter the submission site and edit your presentation proposal.
You will be asked to provide the following information:
1) 10-word Title (in all caps)
2) 40-word Summary (This will be read by conference particpants in the printed and on-line program.)
3) 250-word Description (This will be used for reviewing the presentation proposal.)
4) 2nd and 3rd choice of strand
5) 2nd and 3rd choice for presentation format
6) Up to 2 Conference Threads (Read descriptions on the "Strand Descriptions" PDF document. Link is above.)
7) Specific elements of the NAAEE Guidelines for Excellence and/or goals of the NAAEE Strategic Plan (if applicable)
4. Be sure to hit the "Accept and Continue" button on each page until you get to the confirmation page. You will also receive a confirmation by email when your proposal has been successfully submitted. The confirmation will be sent to the email address in your profile.
Volunteer to be a Reviewer:
Reviewers are still needed for the Research Symposium. Please volunteer by March 1.
No more reviewers are need for the Annual Conference. Thank you to all who have volunteered. Your efforts are critical to the success of the conference!
