Room Share Avail.

Posted by Anonymous User at 2008-08-25 12:07

Hi - I may want to take you up on your offer to share a room. I'm curious how you're planning to get to and from the conference. Walking is certainly a good option if the suites are only half a mile from the conference center. I will have musical instruments and materials with me so I may not want to walk every day, considering that I'll be carrying quite a lot of stuff. Also, if the weather is bad, I'd like to have an alternative to walking. I would also need to know that the suite is non-smoking. Many thanks.

Male Roommate(s) Wanted - Broadview Hotel

Posted by Anonymous User at 2008-08-22 17:57

I have a room reserved at the Broadview Hotel - directly across the street from the Century II Convention Center (where the conference is taking place).

The room is non-smoking and has two double beds (with option for rollaway). The cost is $99 per night plus taxes. The room is reserved from Monday, October 13 through Saturday, October 18 (check out by noon on Sunday). I would like to find one or more roommates for all or part of the week. My employer says they have to be male.

So far we have three male educators from Kansas, New York, and Virginia sharing a room at the Hyatt Regency October 14th through 18th. We have one space left before the room becomes crowded. Also, with a fourth roommate, the price per night will drop to $60 for the first night and around $30 for the remaining nights.
