2008 Conference Scholarships
NAAEE is now accepting applications for the following scholarships:
Environmental Education Scholarship for Academic Study
This $500 or $1,000 scholarship and
conference registration is a tangible way of expressing appreciation to
the host state and supporting the future of EE in that state. For the
2008 conference, funds will be collected from conference registration
fees ($5/conference registration) and will be awarded to at least one
undergraduate or graduate student at a Kansas college or university,
who is currently enrolled in a degree program that will prepare him/her
to be an environmental educator in formal or non-formal setting. DEADLINE: May 1, 2008

Affordability Scholarship
NAAEE is pleased to offer a scholarship
opportunity to help NAAEE members without adequate funding attend the
annual conference, providing an affordable way to get the professional
development that this annual meeting provides. A limited number of
Affordability Scholarships
will be awarded and will provide discounted full conference
registrations to NAAEE members who have lower incomes and little or no
financial support from their employer. (Students and retirees are not eligible for
this scholarship because their registration rate is already discounted—no further discounts will be given.) DEADLINE: June 15, 2008

are an opportunity to promote interaction and exchange within a wide
variety of cultures and perspectives. A culturally diverse conference
fosters vitality in our field. Please note that Diversity Scholarship winners are required to volunteer 4 hours of time at the conference and attend the Diversity Welcome on Wednesday, October 15. DEADLINE: June 15, 2008
