NAAEE St. Paul Panorama Reception & Auctions

Thursday, October 12
Minnesota History Center ~ Sponsored by the Sierra Club

The opening reception this year takes place in the landmark Minnesota History Center, with stunning architecture and classic styling providing a setting of impressive elegance and views of the city.

This event is included in your registration fee, but you must make a reservation to attend.

Live music accompanies your adventures through the three floors of exhibits, which will be interspersed with tables of our silent auction items. Later, the 3M Auditorium will open for the live auction. You won’t want to miss this! In addition to the usual treasures, Amy Kay Kerber and another handler, Nancy Gibson, will bring two wolves (Jacona and Chance) to the reception and give a short program on the wolves prior to the auction. Then the auction will include a “photo with the wolves” opportunity. The photograph will be taken immediately after the auction, so everyone can bid.

Sierra ClubEach year our silent and live auctions raise funds to assist deserving college students to attend the conference. Last year’s auctions in Albuquerque raised $5,859, which will allow us to cover conference registration for 14 students, along with a one-year NAAEE membership. You can help in two ways: First, bring an item or two for the auctions. Drop off your donation at the registration desk when you pick up your name tag. Second, attend and bid high and often! All proceeds go to the William B. Stapp College Student Scholarship Fund.
