An Environmental Education Scholarship for Academic Study in the amount of $1000 is available from the North American Association for Environmental Education for a student attending a college or university in Minnesota (the host state for the 2006 NAAEE Conference).   Scholarship applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university in Minnesota and currently enrolled in a degree program or taking coursework that directly supports future career plans as an environmental educator in a formal or non-formal setting.  Applicants do not have to be current members of NAAEE or MAEE.  Persons of color and students working in environmental justice are encouraged to apply.  Scholarship winners will also be eligible to attend the NAAEE conference in St Paul MN October 11-14, 2006 at no cost.
