How Do YOU Motivate Learners? A Summary of MAEE's First Teacher Workshop After a day of storm and tempest, the clouds cleared for more than 140 teachers and 18 exhibitors who showed up for MAEE’s first teacher workshop for formal educators, “Nature Across the Curriculum: Using the Environment to Motivate All Learners.” While the workshop organizers worked hard to present a useful day that would introduce the concept of integrated environmental education (not an add-on), as it turned out, many of the attendees were already quite aware of this fact and wanted more.
