The NEW Environmental Learning in Minnesota (ELM) Grant
MAEE will administer the ELM Grant Program using a grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) in partnership with the MPCA's Environmental Educatin Advisory Board. Click here for basic information. Check back at this MAEE website for more details later this summer 2008.
Annual MAEE Conference and Other Events
The 2008 event will be a workshop, "Nature Across the Curriculum: Using Environmental Education to Motivate All Learners." It will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Centennial Middle School and School Forest, Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Click on "Events" above for more information.
The 2007 conference, Back to Basics, was held in April 2007 in Alexandria, Minnesota
In 2006, MAEE served as the local host in support of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) held in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The 2005 conference, Strengthening Environmental Education in Minnesota, was held in April 2005 at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. The 2004 state conference with the theme, "Explore the Bend of the River" was
held on April 16th and 17th in Mankato! For this conference, MAEE partnered
with Mn Science Teachers Association. This was a very successful event
for the participants.
