Organizational Members
Services & Benefits
Note: When an organization joins NAAEE, they must list one person as
the contact. That individual is the liaison to NAAEE and is eligible to
receive individual benefits >> If an organization wishes to change the contact person, the benefits will transfer to the new person.
Organizational Members – Learn how to use NAAEE resources!
Welcome! Among the top reasons why organizations join NAAEE is the opportunity for networking. The NAAEE conference is the premier networking event, but what can you do throughout the year to build upon these relationships, communicate with others who share your specific interests, and spread the word about what you are doing?
Conference
- In addition to the discounted conference rate, Partner, Affiliate, and Corporate members receive discounted exhibitor space at the annual conference.
Networking
Take full advantage of the NAAEE Member Database.
- Login to your organizational member record and make sure it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Join a Commission—our version of special interest groups. It is as easy as adding a checkmark to a selection in your member Profile. You will be added to the Commission listserv and will be able to send and receive messages to the entire list.
- Search for other members based on location or expertise and start a dialogue.
Most importantly, the member database is intended to give you exclusive access to the connections you need
News
Do you want to know what’s going on?
- As a member of NAAEE, you will receive the Members-Only version of EE-News offering more content and early announcements of national events, professional development opportunities, grants, and NAAEE announcements. There are also special editions sent out several times a year with updates on our advocacy efforts and Association news.
Spread the word about what you are doing.
- Submit your announcements to EE-News: Send ~50 word announcements to: maryo at naaee.org
- NAAEE will repeat announcements up to three times for a specific event or resource.
- The public version of EE-News is sent out 20+ times per year (~5500 subscribers) and the Members-Only version has a distribution of ~1400.

The Communicator
Tell your story
Environmental
educators are great storytellers, with lots of fascinating experiences
to share. You can do this at the conference through a presentation, but
also during the year by submitting a story to the NAAEE Communicator
quarterly newsletter. We encourage submissions of stories, especially
those with expressive photos.
- Email your story idea to communicator at naaee.org and see the publication suggestions and deadlines at http://www.naaee.org/news-and-events/writers-guidelines
