Learning from Google Trends

Some interesting evidence about our education activity levels throughout the year from Google Trends.

When Kids Do Homework

When do Kids Research their Homework Assignments?

When are kids in school working hard on school subjects?

And I find the above graph so interesting because it mirrors some of the activity we see on the environmental content pages of EE-Link each year.  We have two 'busy seasons' on those pages and it happens around finals time each year as students are researching and preparing final papers and projects and preparing for exams.

The above page is here: http://www.google.com/trends?q=...date=all

Want to know when kids are NOT doing homework? Look at the trends for 'Xbox' (Microsoft's gaming platform), 'Playstation' (Sony's gaming platform), and other popular big-ticket products targeting kids. The results are striking.
