    2. Adopt the Guidelines

How can your organization promote quality environmental education? The answer is, Adopt the Guidelines!

NAAEE and the National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education are encouraging stakeholder groups to adopt the Guidelines and apply them to their work. By adopting the Guidelines, your organization will help to develop awareness of the National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education, improve the quality of environmental education practice, and build credibility for the field. 3. Earn your EE Resource Reviews Recognition!

Educators hungry for high quality environmental education resources may be looking for just what you provide. But how can they find your materials? One answer is through NAAEE's online EE Resource Directory. Plan to sign up for the EE Resource Reviews workshop at the 2008 NAAEE conference in Wichita. You'll learn to use the Guidelines for Excellence to assess your materials. Then choose between two options: bring your own resource and start your online self-review (computers and guidance provided, review submission fees waived), or train and join the national team of peer reviewers so you can provide valuable feedback to others. Registration opens June 2!
