Welcoming Idaho and Utah to EE Resource Reviews
Environmental educators in Idaho and Utah can now submit their EE resources for review in their home states. The Idaho EE Association (IdEEA)and Utah Society for EE (USEE) received grants from NAAEE to start a state-level program with a portal into NAAEE’s online system, joining Colorado, which launched its program in 2004. NAAEE’s Resource Reviews is an adaptation of the program built by the Colorado Association for Environmental Education. This program is envisioned as a partnership between NAAEE and interested Affiliates.
The EE Resource Reviews is designed to help you elevate the value of your EE programs, gain professional development, and enhance your marketing strategies. All kinds of resources are accepted for review, as long as they are part of a documented educational process. “We have keen interest in continuing to grow our database, incorporate quality control for the resources therein, and make this initiative financially sound,” said Donny Roush, Executive Director of IdEEA.
EE Resource Reviews is supported by the Environmental Education and Training Partnership (EETAP) based at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with funding by U.S. EPA’s Office of Environmental Education.
