Listening Skills
Being a good listener is one of the most important skills in becoming more inclusive. High Gain, a company devoted to “teaching artful, strategic listening in innovative ways”, has developed an on line self-assessment on your perceptions of your listening skills. The tool looks at multiple dimensions of listening including attention, empathy, respect, response, memory and open mindedness. High Gain recognizes that listening is context driven where we often listen well in one arena and poorly in others.
