Who’s Agenda?

 You are working with a new group. Regularly, the work that you do focuses on green space and native plants, but the priorities of the new group are related with garbage and solid waste issues, you:

a) feel that there is a connection and present the program as is;

b) abandon your program and help with an activity to clean the area;

c) choose another group;

d) adapt your program to incorporate their priorities;

Questions to consider:

•  How rigid are your mission, policies and programs?
• What do you perceive your relationship to be with other groups, service provider, another member of the community, something else?
