Guidelines for Excellence - The National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education created a series of Guidelines that set the standards for environmental education.
- Pre-Service Education - The Guidelines for the Preparation and Professional Development of Environmental Educators are being used to create standards for EE in teacher preparation programs in colleges and universities.
- Higher Education Directory - Electronic directory of EE programs and faculty in the college and university setting.
- Professional Certification - NAAEE is working with several partners to create a professional credential for environmental educators founded on "core competencies" taken from the Guidelines for the Preparation and Professional Development of Environmental Educators.
- Resource Reviews - The EE Materials: Guidelines for Excellence are used to review materials and programs, which are then posted online in the National EE Directory, a searchable database.
