NOAA logoIn the spring of 2007, the well-respected GfK-Roper polling organization will provide NAAEE with a random sample of 6th and 8th grade students in public and private schools across the United States.

Questionnaires will be designed and evaluated by researchers from the Center for Instruction, Staff Development, and Evaluation;  Florida Institute of Technology;  the Clinton School of Public Service, University of Arkansas; the Northern Illinois University;  and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The research is being funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Environmental Education, and is being conducted by members of NAAEE, the professional association for environmental educators.EPA logo

The results of this research will be presented in the summer of 2007 to NAAEE as well as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and national and international research and educational agencies and organizations.
