Welcome to Resource Reviews

Resource Reviews is our response to members seeking a way to elevate the value of their EE programs, provide staff development, and enhance their marketing strategies.

Resource Reviews gives you a simple, yet powerful, tool to assess your environmental education programs and materials. Growing out of the Guidelines for Excellence initiative, Resource Reviews is another element in our initiative to build a "culture of quality" in EE, which emphasizes a consistent process to design educationally sound EE materials and programs.

  • Your organization will gain staff development opportunities in program planning and evaluation.

  • You can gain credibility by having an independent review team evaluate your materials for fairness and accuracy.

  • Your audience will easily find your reviewed resource, flagged with in the National EE Directory.

What do you want to do?

NAAEE created the online National EE Directory to connect those how provide quality EE resources with those who are seeking ideas for how to teach specific topics to specific age groups.

If you want to add your organization to the Directory, or add a resource to your organization's profile in the Directory, this is where you start.

Educators will easily find your resource in the National EE Directory and know you have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in EE by submitting your resource for review.

We provide training for resource developers about the NAAEE Guidelines and how to submit materials for independent review.

We need volunteers to review the resources that people submit for independent evaluation. Learn the benefits of being a reviewer and how to apply.

Learn more about why we decided this was an important member benefit to develop and who was involved in its creation.
